You may have heard the Myrtle Beach real estate market is cooling off.
Well, there may be some truth to these though we have not seen a decrease in sales prices at this point.
There are concerns that the market is cooling off because of a few factors...
Market Factors
- Buyer Search Website Traffic decreases have been reported by the national real estate website portals
- Actual showings on active listings for sale have decreased by 25.9%
- The number of pending contracts has decreased
- Sales are down over 20% year to date in the MLS

I would love to report more positive data yet it is important that I keep the consumer informed of what is really going on. All of this points to a declining price but it has not happened yet... and, I do not have a crystal ball... I just have a lot of experience.
