The Pines Condominiums | North Myrtle Beach
The North Myrtle Beach condos known as The Pines was built in 1974, and is one of those hidden gems that usually only the shaggers are aware of. These condos are located on 11th Ave North, just a block off Hwy 17, right in front of Mellow Mushroom and Carrabbas. It's 10 blocks from Main Street, still in that perfect area to visit the shag bars, or hit the beach - about a half-mile down 11th Ave, or by taking one of the several side roads leading back to Main Street. The complex consists of 6 buildings with 33 units, and there are 1, 2, and 3 bedroom units available. There's also a large community pool you can enjoy without going anywhere.
One of the best things about The Pines is that is allows the residents to have golf carts. So you may never have to drive a car. Just about everything North Myrtle Beach offers can be found on these side roads and Hwy 17. All the best restaurants are in your front yard. 4 grocery stores are within 5 minutes, and the new shopping complex Coastal North is just down 17. If you plan to live here and have children, the schools servicing this area are Ocean Drive Elementary, North Myrtle Beach Middle, and North Myrtle Beach High School - all nearby.
