Ocean Forest is a very popular high-rise located on the far north end of Myrtle Beach, where the condos are situated across the street from the ocean, with the beach on a strip of unoccupied land. On that strip of land and the beach, most of the larger condominium complexes each have a private cabana. This part of the beach starts the residential section known as the "Golden Mile", and the beaches are uncrowded as well.
Built in 1986 and 1987, Ocean Forest Plaza is made up of two and three-bedroom units. Most have been totally renovated and upgraded to have granite countertops, tile flooring, and other luxury updates. The upper floors have breathtaking views of the beach and are somewhat higher.
Amenities include a clubhouse, owner's private sections, outdoor pool, indoor pool and jacuzzi, sauna, and fitness room. Covered parking under the building is provided, and there are elevators. The complex has security, and owners are allowed to have pets. The HOA fees include electricity, cable tv, and internet!
