The Landmark Resort is one of the historic favorites in Myrtle Beach. Known as a "Luxury hotel" when there weren't but a few of them around, the Landmark has been totally renovated and still retains the luxury image and amenities. The rental history of the Landmark is one of the best in town.
With the renovation came even more amenities - indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, a lazy river... just part of one of the nicest outdoor waterparks around. Kids will be in heaven with their own pools, splash pools, and special water fun. There's a small mini-golf course by the waterpark, a lounge on site for some great New Years Eve celebrations (voice of experience), a great restaurant, pizza parlor, ice cream shop, game-rooms, conference facilities, wireless internet, and more.
For those old enough to remember, the famous "Embers" beach band made one of their first and best record albums here, called "The Embers Live at the Landmark". This was considered THE place to stay in those days.
It didn't come any fancier, and Baby Boomers will dig up some old memories with this wonderful resort. With a new gift shop and convenience store on site, You won't find much need for driving!
