The Myrtle Beach Real Estate Market is Picking Up Again!
I know a lot of us are worried that we may have missed the hot market. I have good news, the market is extremely active right now and we are starting to see better offers and higher sales prices again.
The market did soften towards the end of last year but we are seeing it rebound once again.
Some interesting statistics:
- Prices have increased year over year.
- Days on Market started to go up but are starting to come down again...things are selling faster.
- Showings on listings have increased.
- We are writing more offers.
- More properties are going under contract.

Side Note: Insurance Costs Have Increased
All of us have probably noticed that insurance costs are rising by about 30%. Make sure you are paying attention because a lot of insurance companies have you on auto-renewal and they don't take the time to re-quote and find you a more competitive rate.
We have an insurance company that just saved me approximately $700 on my home insurance. The original insurance company I was using sent me an auto-renewal that would have cost a lot more money because they didn't want to do the extra work to find me a lower rate.
If you are NOT SELLING your property then I urge you to get another insurance quote. You can go to Integrated Insurance Solutions and they will give you a free quote.
