Steeplechase is a beautiful community near the Forestbrook section of south Myrtle Beach. Established in 2003, there are less than 175 homes here, with mature trees, landscaped yards, and lots of blooming flowers and shrubs. Lots are oversized, and underground utilities enhance the neighborhood's charm.
The homes were designed with all the upgrades you would expect, from trey ceilings to granite countertops, walk-in closets, designer kitchens, and fireplaces. Most have covered porches, and some have screened back porches or patios set for entertaining. There are 3, 4, and 5-bedroom homes, both single and two-story models. Prices range with a very low HOA fee and low property taxes because it's outside any city limits.
A large, sparkling community pool and clubhouse round out all the reasons this neighborhood is one of the best. Community activities abound for social residents as well. Children attend the nearby Forestbrook Elementary, Forestbrook Middle School, and Socastee High School. The location can't be beat, either. It's less than 20 minutes to the airport and Market Common, and convenient to the Coastal Grand Mall, Broadway at the Beach, and the Grand Strand Hospital.
