Forestbrook Reserve is another community off Highway 501 near the Outlet Mall. The Reserve is just down the road from Forestbrook Estates and Forestbrook Preserve, offering more homes that are just a bit more upscale with a higher price-point. The Reserve doesn't have a community pool, but it's situated on a gorgeous 12-acre lake and borders a nature preserve. Many of the homes have more square footage and most are custom-built. There are newer affordable homes here as well.
Like the rest of Forestbrook, the Reserve is outside the city limits. Homes here are a mixture of brick and vinyl siding, with covered porches, formal dining rooms, 2-car garages, and all the upgrades. Many of these homes are five bedrooms, and with lake views, it's easy to see why some might cost a bit more.
Several builders have expanded the community, and ages range from more than 10 years old to brand new. Many have private pools, and the community has sidewalks and manicured streets. Prices range from $350,000 to about $450 or more for the lakefront. HOA fees are quite low, however.
Like all of Forestbrook, the location is excellent, with the Myrtle Grand Mall, Broadway at the Beach, and the Airport just a few miles down the highway. The beach is straight down Hwy 501, maybe 10 minutes away. Kids will attend Forestbrook Elementary and Middle Schools, and Socastee High School.
There are not a lot of homes in the Reserve available to purchase, and you may have to get on our mailing list to see one, as they tend to sell fast. However, we'll be happy to show you the neighborhood, as well as the rest of Forestbrook. Give us a call today and let's find your perfect home at the beach!
