Hunters Ridge Plantation Homes for Sale
Hunters Ridge is a community off Forestbrook Road that stretches in all directions around the Forestbrook schools. The homes were built in phases starting around 1997, by different builders and continue today. The sizes, types, and prices vary widely from one end to the other of the development, ranging from as low as $200,000 to nearly a million. There are 3, 4, and 5 bedroom homes, from 1100 sq ft to 4000 sq ft estate homes. Some of the home communities (several are gated and listed separately in the MLS) include:

Most of these subdivisions are small villages homes, and some are gated with their own community pool and clubhouse. Some are huge luxury home subdivisions with backyard pools. Hunters Ridge is outside the city limits, which makes it a popular choice for lower taxes. It offers a pool that is available for all residents, several ponds, walking trails, and natural areas. It is truly one of Forestbrook's most popular sections.
Another reason Hunters Ridge is popular is because of the proximity to the schools. Forestbrook Elementary and Middle School are just minutes up the road, and Socastee High School is convenient. Although far away from the tourist traffic, the homes of Hunters Ridge are just a short drive away from the best beach in the southeast.
