Myrtle Beach Golf and Yacht Club Homes for Sale
Myrtle Beach Golf and Yacht is a large community of single-family homes that were originally situated around the Heron Point Golf Course, which has now closed. The master housing community includes the neighborhoods of Camelot, Ashley Cove, The Gardens, and The Fairways, as well as the original homes built in the 80's. Many of the newer homes are vinyl-sided 4 and 5 bedroom homes with two car garages while the original homes are 2 and 3 bedroom.
You can feel secure knowing the community is gated and provides a full-time security service for all of its residents. Security Service personnel are stationed at the front gate and are on patrol in the neighborhood 24 hours a day. The homes are affordable, with the older homes priced around $150,000 and the newer ones around $300,000. So if you're looking for a post-retirement home, a new place to live, or to invest in a home for the first time, the homes available in Myrtle Beach Golf and Yacht may be just what you're looking for.
The neighborhood provides other amenities such as tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, playground, a basketball court, covered pavilion, and community center. A secure boat and RV storage area are available for a small additional fee. The association is active and includes a women's club that hosts parties, fashion shows and cookouts throughout the year. You can enjoy a rousing game of BINGO in the community center.
At this time it is unknown whether the golf course will be reopened or if additional housing will be built. But the amenities are excellent either way.
