Cypress River Plantation is a gated luxury Waterway community in south Myrtle Beach, located off Hwy 707 and Bay Road. With a 24-hour manned gate, few people know it exists unless they've been taken in by a Realtor or had family to visit.

Homes in Cypress River are custom built, some in the late 2000's. These are almost always large estate-style homes with 4-6 bedrooms, and half-acre plus lots. Many are directly on the Intracoastal Waterway, which has joined the Waccamaw River at this section. Some have private docks, but the community has its own private boat launch and docks as well.
