A Thanks to Stacey

To: Stacey Bowers <staceybowersc21thg@gmail.com>

Good morning Stacey,

Thank you for sending these over, and for everything you did to get us to closing.  I know there were many, many details that were not apparent, but that you handled beautifully in order for us to close without issues and on time.  We truly appreciate everything you did!

Kindest regards,

P. Dunham

From Our Facebook Page

Wonderful real estate company. I was not ready to sell my condo but was interested in buying a house at a future date. The real estate agent, K J Jordan, stayed in touch with me monthly (I was out of state). When I was ready to buy he was there for me all the way. I would definitely recommend K J Jordan and Harrelson Realty!

Praise for Eric Hughes Realtor

A letter Greg Received from a customer...

Sold Home in Murrells Inlet

For my family and myself, I would like to let you know of the help offered by your team, most notably Eric Hughes.  This is a bit of a sob story so please bear with me.  My Mother passed away a week before we were to close on her home and move her closer to family on May 29, 2011.  The day before her death she was told that the closing may need to be delayed due to the fact that a title could not be produced for her modular home.  The Realtor knew she was very anxious about this transaction.

(House had been on the market over a year), She also knew that my brother and I would be flying in to pack Mom up and move her within the week.  The risk of the sale not going through was frightening for my Mother.  She died that night with a glass of wine and her rosary beads in hand from a massive heart attack.

When we arrived to bury her vs. move her near us, we discovered that the situation was not easy to resolve.  During that week we made many trips to Georgetown and contacted Columbia.  We were very disappointed with the lawyer and Realtor and left without resolution.  The deal fell through since we could not product a title.

The home sat empty for a year before we received a postcard from Harrelson Realty.  My husband contacted your office and Eric responded.  To be perfectly honest I truly did not care if the home never sold since it had such difficult emotions attached.  My only motivation was my parents' memory and the lovely neighbors who did not deserve an empty deteriorating property pulling down their real estate value.

If I tell you, Eric - who never met me, never knew my Mother - had no knowledge of the background, but took ownership of the situation and managed the burden as though it was his.  This deal represented an insignificant commission.  I have sold property in Manhattan, for well over one million dollars, where I never experienced this level of caring and service.

We were told the property had mold, so Eric brought in a contractor who evaluated and ultimately did required maintenance to make the property attractive to a buyer.  Eric stayed on top of the work and kept me in the loop.  He also recommended an attorney who supported me through the title issue (which turned out to be merely getting to the right person).

The property closed last month.  I have just completed the distribution to my brothers and we can finally put my Mom to rest.  we have been holding onto her ashes because we did not have closure.

My business is Customer 1st Performance, LLC. We provide learning and tools to help improve the customer experience.  Caring is the winning formula and you have it with Eric.  He did not care for me as a customer he cared for me and my Mom as though we were family.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Deb Harrington

Testimonial from Sean Catto

My Story with C21 The Harrelson Group

Sean Catto

In the decade prior to 2009 I had lived in more apartments than I could count. If it wasn't a one-bedroom apartment then it was the spare bedroom of a close friend's home. I was content with my spartan living conditions, that is to say until I had a very moving, life-altering conversation with my family's financial consultant. Given my current life's goals and aspirations, the time had come for me to embrace my biggest life commitment since my enlistment into the Marine Corps. It was time to buy a house. Yet, as a young, ignorant man of only 26 I had no idea of how to go about even looking for a house. My knowledge of real estate was rudimentary at best, and my paranoia of scammers and schemers caused a persistent, unending anxiety over who could be fully trusted with such a momentous task. That is, until I came in contact with Greg Harrelson, and the Century 21, the Harrelson Group.

It was through sheer luck against the odds that I was introduced to Greg through a good friend of mine. A chance meeting at the local gym had brought me into the family-like atmosphere Greg's operation. Over the course of the next several months I got to know many of them as good friends, and began to trust them as such. It was through these many interactions that I would go on to make the best decision I could have made: to rely on Greg's seasoned knowledge of real estate in my search for my first house. And after a short (yet exhaustive) search I was presented with my future home. But that was not the end of our journey.

During the various inspections of home in question I was pleasantly surprised to arrive and find Greg and two of his realtors already on site, prepared to walk with me through the inspection with the builder. And inspect he did. Not one room in the house was left unscrutinized, not one inch of the walls unmarked, and several architectural enigmas were challenged directly to the builders by Greg himself. The steadfast determination of Greg Harrelson and his companions to ensure the best possible standards of my future home reflected great integrity on himself and the Century 21 Harrelson Group, and were within the highest keepings of even the most family orientated businesses. More important than anything else, Greg had made me feel like the purchase of my home was as important to him as it was to me.

I have been fortunate to keep in touch with Greg and his team over the past few years, relying on their extensive real estate expertise to help me in my own ventures. Without a doubt in my heart I can say that I have never been let down. Never have I met a business more trustworthy than the Century 21 Harrelson Group, and I fully endorse anyone else who would likewise enjoy such service. Anyone with questions about my experience may feel free to contact me at via my email address.
