Bellasera on the Waterway is a gated community near the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach. It is located just a mile and a half up Main Street Extension from the beach, and bordering the Intracoastal Waterway. The community was developed around 2017, and there are both single-family homes and new townhomes built from 2020 to 2022. The latest townhomes were directly on the water, and have a community dock as well as some private docks and boat lifts that can be rented. These are all 4-bedroom units, with prices averaging just under $700,000, however, there are also some that are near the water which are more expensive. The community dock is open to all the residents.

The Villas at Bellasera Homeowners Association takes care of lawn maintenance, irrigation, community insurance, common area maintenance, accounting, and compliance issues for the subdivision. Golf carts are allowed, giving easy access to Ocean Drive beaches, dining, festivals, and dancing on Main Street. The North Myrtle Beach Aquatic Center is also just across Highway 31. Children will attend Ocean Drive Elementary, North Myrtle Beach Middle School, and North Myrtle Beach High School.

Most of the townhomes here have a primary bedroom and bath on the ground floor, with 3 others on the 2nd floor, including 2.5 bathrooms. Some have a screened porch opening off the den and fenced-in backyards to enjoy the views. Of course, the luxury amenities are all there as expected, from granite countertops to hardwood (or tiled) floors and finished garages.
