Litchfield By The Sea Resort
Litchfield by the Sea is an amazing resort located in the 7-mile stretch of beach known as Litchfield Beach, between Pawleys Island and Murrells Inlet. It consists of many oceanfront condo complexes and inland single-family home communities that are managed through The River Club Community organization. Homeowners also share in the usage of the pool facilities at the River Club.
Much of Litchfield by the Sea is used for vacation rentals, in particular, the huge number of condos directly on the ocean. The resort itself is gated and offers amenities for tennis, golfing, fishing, biking, and hiking through miles of pristine marshland. There's even a private waterpark. Residents have private beach access, and use of the Beach Club clubhouse. Most of the home communities are also gated.
