As you can imagine, there have been many changes in the local real estate market along the Grand Strand.
I am happy to report that we’ve continued to make sales through these challenging times. I found those buyers in the market looking to purchase seem to be more serious than ever.
The number of listings has decreased so those that are selling seem to be selling faster and for a good price. That is the opposite of what a lot of people thought was going to happen.
The number of showing appointments for agents has decreased so we will keep our eyes on that to see if that slows down sales over the next month or two.
I have received numerous calls about Mortgage Forbearance. Basically, a lot of property owners in the Myrtle Beach area have asked about banks deferring their payments to help them get through these economic tough times.
I recorded an important video that explains this process. You may not need this info but if you know someone then you can pass this along.

I will continue to keep you posted on the changes to the real estate market. We are hoping this all ends soon and we can get back to normal. If we help you with your real estate needs, please let us know.
