We are only a few days away from Christmas!
I am excited to report that we are going to finish the year strong. So many people think that the market slows down in the winter along the Grand Strand yet the numbers tell a different story.
Here are some facts for November 2015: (As of 12/7/15)
There was a total of 484 residential home sales in November. (Average 171 Days)
There was a total of 278 condo sales in November. (Average 181 Days)
There was a total of 81 lot sales in November. (Average 435 Days)
As you can see, things are still very active right now.
We believe we will have one of the best Decembers we have had in years. Based on the volume of incoming buyer calls, it appears that we may book more appointments to show property this December than we did in the last few. This comes at a great time because there are fewer listings for sale right now. This means the properties listed right now have more of a chance of selling because there is less competition on the market. It always comes back to supply and demand.
Another thing I am happy to report is that showings on our listings in the last 2 weeks have increased by 30%. We know that the more showings we have, the more properties will sell. So, not only are our listings showing more but we are also scheduling more buyer appointments.
