Brandy Mill is a popular and pretty community just off Highway 707, between 17 Bypass and Highway 544, near Socastee. Most of the homes were built around 1990 to the mid 90's, with the customary upgrades. Most have been well-maintained and even updated and include some of the nicest homes in this area.
The houses are varied, from traditional to ranch-style with 3 and 4 bedrooms and large, landscaped lots. Many have fenced backyard pools, koi ponds, and entertainment areas. Inside it's common to find hardwood flooring, granite countertops, vaulted ceilings and chef's kitchens. Most have fireplaces. Many homes are brick, and many are vinyl-sided. Prices start just under $150,000 and range to over $250,00 for the larger homes. HOA fees are under $20 a month.
Children here attend Socastee Elementary and High School and Forestbrook Middle School. Brandy Mill is outside the city limits so taxes are low. It's just south of Myrtle Beach and all the attractions, and convenient to Market Common, the airport, and Coastal Grand Mall. Once on 17 Bypass, you can go anywhere. With good home prices and a great location, Brandy Mill is a great place to call home.
